Cookies

Last revised: 28 October 2026

What this site stores in your browser, with its real name and lifetime, and what an advertising tag may and may not do before and after you agree.

In short

  • The site stores up to 3 items in your browser, all strictly necessary. It sets no cookies of its own.
  • While you browse, the Google tag is always loaded but restricted, with no cookies, unless you agree; the Meta tag runs only if you agree. If you say no, the shop works exactly the same.
  • Your choice stands for 12 months, then we ask again. Change it sooner with “Cookie settings” at the foot of the page.

01 Cookies, browser storage and tags

A cookie is a small piece of text a site asks your browser to keep, which is sent back to the site on each visit. Local storage is similar, but it stays in your browser and is never sent anywhere. A tag or pixel is code from another company, such as Google or Meta, which can set its own cookies and send information back.

The law treats all three the same way: what is strictly necessary for something you asked for needs no permission. Everything else needs your agreement first, and taking it back must be as easy as giving it.

02 The categories

  • Strictly necessary (no consent needed): your text-size choice, your cookie choice and a short recap of the orders you sent.
  • Statistics (consent needed): we run no analytics product today. The switch exists because the Google tag treats analytics storage as a separate permission.
  • Advertising (consent needed): the Google Ads tag and the Meta Pixel, described below.

There is no shopping basket to remember: every order is placed on its product page, in one go. Who receives the details of an order is explained in the privacy notice.

04 Your choice lasts 12 months

When you answer the card, your choice is saved with the date. After 12 months it expires and we ask again; until you answer, statistics and advertising stay off. Clearing this site's data in your browser has the same effect.

05 Google Consent Mode v2 and the Meta Pixel

Before you answer, the Google tag starts with every permission denied (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage): it writes and reads no cookies and sends Google only cookieless signals. Your answer is passed to it at once. While you browse, the Meta Pixel is loaded only if you accept advertising.

After an order, the confirmation page tells Google Ads that a sale took place, with its value and the order reference: without your consent this signal is cookieless and carries no advertising identifiers. Meta always receives it too: from the Meta Pixel on the confirmation page and from our server, with the same order reference so it is counted once. Neither ever receives your name, address, phone number or email.

06 How to change your choice

On your first visit the card offers buttons of equal weight to accept or to reject; in the shop you can also choose category by category. Nothing optional is switched on in advance. “Cookie settings” sits at the foot of every page and reopens the card.
